In Kyrgyzstan, spring break will be extended, but the school year will end later

In Kyrgyzstan, the spring break will last for 4 days, which will lead to a change in the end date of the academic year. This was announced by the Minister of Education, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, on her social media.

According to the minister, this decision was made taking into account the opinions of parents.

“Many expressed dissatisfaction with the short duration of the break. We took these complaints into account and decided to extend it by four days. Students will have a break from March 2 to March 7. However, to keep up with the academic schedule, the end of the academic year has been moved from May 25 to May 29. On this day, the last bell will be held in schools,” she noted.
