Talantbek Duyshbaev, originally from Kyrgyzstan, has become the new head coach of the French national handball team. This information was published in several open sources.
He noted: "Coaching the French national team is a great honor for me. I have always dreamed of this, as this team has an amazing generation of players. My main goal is to achieve victories and become dominant again, especially in matches against Germany and Denmark."
Talantbek Duyshbaev is an Olympic gold medalist (1992), a world champion (1993), and a medalist at European Championships and the Olympic Games. He is also a winner of the Champions League as both a player and a coach. His career began at the "Burevestnik" club in Frunze.
In the summer months of 2023, Duyshbaev was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the European Handball Federation (EHF).
