An important event took place on January 13, when the official inclusion of the Handball Federation into the committee was announced at the General Assembly of the NOC of Kyrgyzstan.
The President of the NOC, Umbetaly Kydyraliyev, presented a detailed report at the meeting on the achievements of Kyrgyzstan's national teams on international stages in 2025. His report highlighted the main results, participation in world and Asian championships, as well as preparations for upcoming significant tournaments.
Additionally, the participants of the General Assembly discussed the organizational and financial aspects of the NOC's work. In particular, the audit report for the specified period was approved, confirming high standards of transparency and compliance of financial operations with established norms.
The inclusion of the Handball Federation in the NOC of the Kyrgyz Republic marks the official recognition of this sport at the Olympic level, opening new horizons for its development. This will create opportunities for more active participation of the federation in international programs, receiving Olympic solidarity, and improving the training of national teams, as well as developing youth handball in the country.
