Kasymaliev noted that tourism is rapidly becoming one of the key sectors of Kyrgyzstan's economy.
In the field of culture, this year, work has been completed on the capital repair of buildings and the improvement of the material and technical base of institutions. 990 million soms have been allocated for the construction of a new educational building for the Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenaliev, and 750 million soms for the construction of a building for the M. Kureneev Music College.
It is planned to build a philharmonic hall for 3,200 seats and a modern museum in Manas, which is part of broader efforts to develop cultural infrastructure across the country.
An important achievement was the inclusion of Kyrgyzstan's national drink — maksym — in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage on December 10, 2025. "In order to further develop sports, the State Agency for Sports was established in 2025. This year, the salaries of coaches increased by 30%. Government spending on sports continues to grow: from 800 million soms in 2020 to 2.2 billion soms in 2024 and 2.5 billion soms in 2025," Kasymaliev reported.
According to the head of the government, the sports infrastructure in the country is actively being restored, and new facilities are being opened. In 2025, the reconstruction of the Small Sports Arena in Bishkek for 5,000 seats was completed. A Sports Palace for 5,200 seats was also built in Manas with a budget of 1 billion soms.
