In the context of an open dialogue with the clergy of the Roman Diocese, the Pope emphasized the need to refrain from writing sermons using ChatGPT. He urged clergy to return to traditional methods while remaining attentive to issues related to artificial intelligence and the internet.

The Pope noted that, like any muscles, if the brain is not exercised, it loses its abilities. “It is important to develop our intellect so as not to lose it. The preaching of faith is something more than just a text written by a machine, and artificial intelligence cannot convey the essence of faith,” he added.

The Pope also emphasized that clergy should take into account the difficult circumstances many young people face, including family crises, divorces, and the absence of parents.

He also spoke about the contrast between deep spiritual life and superficial activity on the internet, where the number of likes and followers can create a false impression of a person's significance.
