According to him, an examination of the structural stability is necessary. The construction work is completed, with only minor adjustments remaining. After that, a wait of 28 days will be required for the final inspection. "This Friday we will take measurements, and after that, we will be able to determine the exact date of the bridge opening," noted Aliyev.
The deputy mayor also reminded that the construction began on October 1, 2025. Currently, it is necessary to asphalt the approaches to the bridge; however, bad weather conditions are hindering the laying of asphalt.
It is worth noting that due to the bridge closure, daily traffic jams are observed in this area. The exact date of the opening will be known after all necessary technical measurements are completed.
