TikTok Suddenly Started Working for Users in Kyrgyzstan

Unexpected news for Kyrgyzstanis: some subscribers in Bishkek and other regions have managed to access TikTok without using a VPN. This information was received from readers of 24.kg.

Although there are no official statements about the restoration of the app's functionality yet, active messages from users may indicate possible testing of the lifting of restrictions.

We remind you that TikTok was blocked in the spring of 2024 at the request of the special services, which pointed to risks for children and the need to improve content moderation.

Earlier, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev proposed an initiative to the leadership of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) regarding the unblocking of TikTok.
