In the capital, during the Tarawih prayers, police officers are on duty at one of the largest mosques, which can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers. This was reported by the press service of the Bishkek City Police Department.
Special units are involved to ensure public order and road safety.
Issues regarding traffic flow regulation have been addressed, and additional measures have been implemented to prevent offenses.
All mosques in the capital are equipped with video surveillance systems, allowing for round-the-clock monitoring of both adjacent areas and internal premises.
The cameras provide continuous real-time recording, ensuring monitoring of the movement of people, entrances, parking lots, and other areas of mass gatherings.
We remind you that there are 125 mosques in Bishkek, and Tarawih prayers are held in 122 of them during the holy month of Ramadan.
Every evening, about 70,000 people participate in the services.
