The airport's press service announced the temporary cancellation of flights from Bishkek to Kuwait City starting March 1. These measures are due to the worsening situation in Iran.

The airport noted that the cancellation is related to the need to ensure safe flights and changes in airline schedules.

Passengers whose flights are canceled are advised to contact their airlines or the places where they purchased their tickets for clarification and to resolve issues regarding refunds or changing departure dates.

Earlier, flights from Bishkek to Dubai, Sharjah, and Jeddah were also canceled.

It is worth noting that on February 28, an incident involving a drone occurred at Kuwait International Airport, resulting in injuries to several staff members. Due to the escalation of the situation, Kuwait Airways suspended all its flights.
