In Bishkek, from March 2 to March 10, a tulip festival is taking place in honor of International Women's Day. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture.

The event is unfolding in Ala-Too Square, in the very heart of the capital.

Visitors can purchase flowers both wholesale and retail. Prices for tulips start from 75 soms.

“The festival is aimed at supporting local producers, increasing the share of their products in the domestic market, and providing citizens with high-quality and environmentally friendly flowers. Various varieties of tulips are presented at the venue, and producers have the opportunity to directly introduce consumers to their products,” the ministry commented.
