The mayor of the capital visited the mudflow reservoir in Manka-Zhar
According to the city hall, Bishkek is currently not threatened by flooding.
The mayor, Aibek Junushaliev, familiarized himself with the operation of the mudflow reservoir in the Manka-Zhar area and spoke with residents of neighboring districts.
He noted that there are currently no grounds for concern regarding mudflow processes, and the current meteorological conditions pose no threat to either citizens or urban infrastructure. The situation is being monitored by the relevant city services.
