According to the zoo staff, Vasily does not show much interest in physical activity; however, he is regularly motivated to move. In a joking manner, the employees note that otherwise, the raccoon risks "getting stuck in the doorway, like Winnie the Pooh in his burrow."
It is worth noting that raccoon Vasily became part of the Karakol Zoo quite recently. He was handed over to the zoo by kind people who bought him from a circus to provide the animal with more comfortable living conditions.
At the moment, Vasily is gradually getting used to his new surroundings. The zoo hopes that with a balanced diet and increased physical activity, he will be able to regain his former shape.
