At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on March 4, Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva raised the issue of fines imposed on special vehicles as part of the "Safe City" project.

She noted that fines for ambulances arise due to the need for urgent responses to calls, as well as the lack of designated lanes for such vehicles.

According to the deputy, fines can only be waived if the flashing lights are operational, which is not always the case. As a result, chief doctors have to contest each fine in writing, which requires significant time and resources. Since the hospital budgets do not account for such expenses, doctors have to cover the fines out of their personal funds, which, in Sadyrbaeva's opinion, necessitates simplifying and digitizing the process.
