Speaking at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on March 4, Deputy Seidbek Atambaev pointed out the lack of clear regulation in the Interior Ministry's draft law, which, in his opinion, could lead to a mass retake of driving tests.

Atambaev noted that many important aspects, such as deadlines, the number of retake attempts, and the procedure for appealing results, are not specified in the code, creating legal uncertainty. He also emphasized that the provision for temporarily revoking the right to drive in case of failing the exam within 60 days could negatively affect citizens for whom driving is a primary source of income. "What will happen to those convicted or those on probation?" the deputy questioned.

Additionally, he recommended that the leadership of the Interior Ministry conduct an inspection at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Panfilov Street after 6:00 PM, pointing out the lack of traffic controllers on the roads.

Atambaev expressed dissatisfaction that traffic jams are constantly forming at the Osh market, and in Koi-Tash, at the intersection with the entrance to Arashan, he has been demanding the installation of a traffic light for a year, but to no avail. "How many accidents have occurred there, and no measures have been taken. Even your employees would struggle to pass the exam. We should be making life easier for citizens, not complicating it. I am against this project," he concluded, addressing Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktobur Urmambetov.
