In 2026, Bishkek is expecting a significant increase in greening efforts. As part of this initiative, around 2 million annual flowers will be planted in flowerbeds, parks, squares, and along the central streets of the capital.
According to information provided by the press service of the city hall, the municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy" has developed an extensive program for the floral decoration of the city.
Thanks to the warm spring, it is planned that about 230,000 tulips will bloom by April 10.
Bright floral compositions will traditionally add beauty to public spaces and create a joyful atmosphere for residents and guests of the capital.
The process of planting flowers and caring for green spaces will be carried out in stages, which will help maintain the attractiveness of the flowerbeds throughout the season.
