Orozo Ait may coincide with the celebration of Nowruz
According to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, Kadir Night (Night of Destiny) will be celebrated at night from March 16 to 17.
It is expected that Orozo Ait will take place on March 20, and there is a possibility that it will coincide with the celebration of Nowruz.
The Ministry of Labor reminded citizens that it is important to consider the updated calendar of weekends and holidays, as well as the fact that there will be no transfers in 2026.
The Ministry of Culture has already begun preparations for the celebration, with Naryn being the main location for Nowruz this year.
"If Orozo Ait does indeed coincide with March 21, then in the morning, as is customary, the festive Ait namaz will take place. Afterwards, events related to Nowruz will continue," the department added.
