






According to the press service of the State Penitentiary Service, educational and cultural events were organized for prisoners and underage wards as part of the celebration. Participants prepared performances about the significance of the Kyrgyz headwear and its historical context, recited poems, and performed traditional songs. The holiday was filled with the melodies of komuz and concert numbers dedicated to the cultural values of the people.
In addition to the cultural program, sports competitions were held in both national and classical sports. Among the competitions were tournaments in table tennis, kettlebell lifting, tayak-tartish, arkan-tartish, ordo, as well as chess and toguz korgool.
As emphasized by the department, such events contribute to fostering respect for national traditions and culture, preserving the heritage of ancestors, and promoting the spiritual development and resocialization of prisoners.
