In Uzbekistan, plans have been made to organize the cultivation of ginseng for the first time. Experimental plots will be established in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, as well as in the foothills of Kashkadarya. This initiative was discussed at a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the chairman of FDfive, Chun Hun, which took place in the South Korean city of Dongtan, reports Podrobno.uz.

During the negotiations, issues related to improving the fertility of land affected by salinization were also addressed, as well as the introduction of agricultural crops that will be adapted to climatic conditions and provide high economic returns.

In addition, the possibilities for cultivating such plants in the country as sweet clover, Japanese millet, Italian ryegrass, Sudan grass, alfalfa, and sesbania were discussed.
