As it became known, on January 26, M.K. planned to fly to Turkey with his family; however, border guard officers did not allow him to cross the border.
In an official statement, it was specified that the fine of 1,000 soms had previously been paid by M.K., and the restriction related to it had been lifted. However, a temporary exit restriction was imposed on his wife, O.Z., by the Sverdlovsk District Court due to her tax debt of 1,320,398 soms. Thus, the reason for the refusal to exit was not the presence of a fine, but the existing court restriction related to his wife's debt,” the service explained.
The bailiff service strongly recommends that citizens check for any debts in advance before planning to travel abroad on the official website.
