The President of Kyrgyzstan has signed a decree to implement the "Bala Irysy" allowance
Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, announced the launch of a new social assistance program — an allowance called "Bala Irysy." This allowance will be provided to all children, regardless of their families' financial situation.
The head of state noted that this decision was a response to numerous appeals from citizens who complained about difficulties in obtaining government services and frequent refusals of payments.
"I observe how the process of receiving allowances turns into real difficulties. We are introducing 'Bala Irysy' based on the principle that every child comes into this world with a special blessing. It is more important for the state to support those who are not in acute need than to allow even one child to go without food," the president stated.
According to the National Statistical Committee, the new initiative will affect about 445,000 children under the age of three, providing them with the necessary support during a critically important period of their development.
