A forum titled "Youth Against Extremism" was held at the National Center for Children and Youth "Seitek" in Bishkek, as reported by the press service of the city police department.
The goal of this forum was to prevent radicalization among youth groups, as well as to promote ideas of peace, tolerance, and civic responsibility.
Representatives from government structures, religious organizations, sports organizations, youth associations, and high school students from the capital's schools attended the event.
Azamat Toktonaliev, the head of the Bishkek city police department, emphasized the importance of preventive work with youth in his speech, noting that it is the new generations that are crucial for maintaining peace and stability in society.
During the forum, speakers urged young people to value spiritual and moral guidelines, develop an active civic position, and adhere to a healthy lifestyle, which should serve as an alternative to destructive ideas.
