In Bishkek, at the base of the PPSM regiment of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, where the cavalry platoon is located, a solemn oath-taking ceremony was held for more than 80 new police officers, who are graduates of the Republican Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to representatives of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, the official opening of this base took place on November 1 in an online format with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
The ceremony began with the ceremonial presentation of the battle flag, after which the newcomers recited the words of the oath, confirming their loyalty to service and the law.
The event was attended by the head of the Bishkek Main Internal Affairs Directorate Azamat Toktonaliev, the leadership of the PPSM regiment, veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the personnel of the unit.
In his speech, Azamat Toktonaliev emphasized the importance of this moment for each of the new employees.
“Today you are joining the ranks of the police, where each day requires responsibility and courage. The oath is not just words; it is your commitment to protect the rights of citizens and serve society,” he said.
Toktonaliev also noted that in recent years, under the support of the country's leadership and Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov, modern conditions for service are being created within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Buildings, vehicles are being updated, and the material and technical base is being strengthened. In particular, for the first time in the history of the Kyrgyz police, a full-fledged cavalry platoon has been established with modern equipment. Currently, more than 1,000 employees serve in the PPSM regiment of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, and the cavalry platoon, consisting of 50 employees, actively contributes to ensuring security in the capital.
“Know that the trust of citizens must be earned every day through your hard work and integrity. I wish you courage and success in your service!” added Toktonaliev.
At the end of the ceremony, the newcomers marched ceremoniously before the leadership and guests, demonstrating their drill training and readiness to perform their official duties.
