According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to improve the criminal situation in the country, 6,025 special operational activities were carried out, including 806 raids and 2,876 searches. As a result of these actions, 116 cases of extortion, 315 crimes related to illegal arms trafficking, as well as 86 cases of organizing underground gambling, 40 crimes related to human trafficking, and 790 cases concerning the maintenance of brothels, prostitution, and the spread of HIV infection were identified.
As a result of the work done over the two months, 3,150 criminal cases were initiated. Administrative penalties were applied to 2,934 individuals, of which 980 were arrested.
In cases related to illegal possession of weapons, 4,250 units of cold weapons, as well as 5,814 ammunition and 3.7 kilograms of explosives were seized.
Additionally, law enforcement agencies blocked 47 accounts that, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, contributed to the deterioration of the criminal situation and spread the ideas of the criminal world, including among the youth.
