The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has presented a draft resolution regarding changes to the licensing of certain types of activities. The document has been put forward for public discussion.

The proposed amendments concern the government resolution "On Licensing Certain Types of Activities," adopted on December 14, 2023, number 678. The main goal of these changes is to simplify the process of obtaining licenses in the field of architecture and construction, as well as to promote digitalization in this area.

According to this draft, specialists holding state qualification certificates will be able to work on a permanent basis in only one company.

This rule will apply both when obtaining a license and when starting construction or architectural activities.

Changes are also proposed to the process of document verification required for licensing. In particular, information about specialists' tax payments will be automatically verified through the state information system.

Moreover, some document requirements will be canceled — specifically, subparagraphs 4 and 5 of paragraph 2202 concerning licensing are planned to be declared invalid.
