The deputies adopted bills on mutual visa cancellation for holders of diplomatic and service passports with four countries

The bills were adopted in three readings.

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, parliamentarians discussed the bills concerning the ratification of agreements on visa-free entry for holders of diplomatic and service passports with countries such as Egypt, Oman, Slovenia, and Benelux.

The report was presented by Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev, who stated that according to these agreements, citizens of Kyrgyzstan and the listed countries holding diplomatic, special, and service passports will be able to visit each other without hindrance for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

During the discussion, the deputies emphasized the importance of continuing the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to expand the list of countries for which a simplified visa regime will be introduced. This should apply not only to holders of diplomatic and service passports but also to citizens with regular passports.

After the discussion, the bills were approved by the deputies.
