Among the topics discussed was the work on the procurement and supply of medical products, medicines, and equipment for the country's healthcare institutions, which continues with the support of UNDP. Currently, a comprehensive set of necessary procurement activities is being carried out to ensure timely supply to medical institutions.
Attention was also drawn to logistical issues and the stages of delivery of medical products within the framework of joint programs.
A working group consisting of national experts has already been formed to prepare the necessary documents, as the first application window is planned to open in early June. UNDP, as the implementing agency for several programs, will continue to provide expert and technical assistance in preparing applications and implementing grant activities.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation aimed at ensuring the sustainability of public health programs, including in the fight against tuberculosis and HIV, as well as strengthening the system for providing medicines.
