In the last hour, over 2,400 complaints have been registered, and over the past day, their number has exceeded 5,300. The highest number of reports has come from users in St. Petersburg, the Magadan region, and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as from citizens of the USA and Germany.
Users are reporting difficulties with loading media files and delays in sending messages.
Similar difficulties are also observed among users from Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier in Russia, it was reported that the outages might be related to increased control by Roskomnadzor, which has tightened regulations on the operation of Telegram since 2025. Officials from the agency claim that the restrictions are due to the use of the messenger for illegal purposes and non-compliance with Russian legislation.
At the moment, the official Telegram administration has not commented on the reasons for the current issues with the service.
