According to information provided by the GKNB, on March 12, 2026, retired Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Subachev passed away at the age of 67.
The leadership and the Council of Veterans, as well as the employees of the GKNB, expressed their sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Alexey Subachev was born in 1959 and received his education at the Bishkek Polytechnic Institute, where he studied energy.
He began his career in the national security agencies of Kyrgyzstan in December 1992. From December 1992 to July 2002, he served in the Ministry of National Security, the National Security Service, and the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. Since September 1999, he held leadership positions.
His last position was the head of the investigative isolation facility of the National Security Service of Kyrgyzstan. Subachev was awarded the badge "Millet".
GKNB employees noted that his colleagues will remember Alexey as a responsible and highly qualified specialist who actively contributed to the training of new personnel in the security agencies.
