The next meeting of TurkPA will take place in Kyrgyzstan this autumn

As part of the meeting, negotiations aimed at deepening cooperation among Turkic peoples are planned.



During a meeting with the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TurkPA), Ramil Hasan, the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev, emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties between fraternal nations. This information was disseminated by the parliament's press service.


According to Mamataliyev, the new composition of the Jogorku Kenesh is interested in active cooperation with all parliaments of Turkic countries and the implementation of joint projects within the framework of TurkPA.


He also reminded that the plenary session of TurkPA will take place in Kyrgyzstan this autumn.


"I am confident that during the event, substantive negotiations will be held and agreements will be reached that will contribute to the development of relations and strengthening cooperation between our peoples," he added.


In response, Ramil Hasan discussed current projects and plans, noting that preparations for the autumn meeting will be serious. He also mentioned the upcoming informal meeting of the heads of parliaments of the Assembly member states.


Additionally, the meeting addressed the issue of expanding the Assembly's partnership with inter-parliamentary organizations both in the region and beyond, including Europe and Latin America.


TurkPA was established in 2008 and includes the parliaments of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Representatives of the parliaments of Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan actively participate in the Assembly's activities.
