During the meeting, the committee also discussed the ratification of the agreement on the establishment of a student campus for KRSU in the village of Baytik. Deputy Bolo Saginayev asked about the availability of similar opportunities for other higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan and the number of land plots at their disposal.
As Isaev noted, ten higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan have special status, which opens up broad prospects for their development. The deputy minister also promised to provide a written response regarding land resources.
He pointed to the under-construction KNU campus as an example of expanding infrastructure in the country's universities.
According to the deputy minister, the work on the construction of the 16-story building on the site of the KNU dormitory is progressing, and about one-third of all work has already been completed. The new building will house administrative offices and classrooms for students. Overall, he stated that there is potential for the construction of new campuses for higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
