According to information from the organizers, the XXI International Festival 'Jazz_Bishkek_Spring' will take place in Bishkek on April 24 and 25, as reported by representatives of 24.kg.
This event promises to be one of the brightest moments of spring.
“The motto of the festival is ‘Music Without Borders’. Our goal is to create bridges of friendship and understanding between peoples through cultural interaction. Jazz symbolizes freedom and creativity. Since 2018, this festival has become part of the program dedicated to International Jazz Day, celebrated on April 30 at the initiative of UNESCO. Over the years, we have managed to introduce the people of Kyrgyzstan to unique styles and interpretations of jazz, presenting 176 ensembles from 23 countries, such as Austria, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the USA, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan, Portugal, Korea, and Spain,” the official statement reads.
The festival will take place on different days at several venues. Applications for participation have been submitted by musical groups from countries including France, Italy, Austria, South Korea, Spain, Estonia, and of course, Kyrgyzstan.
Concerts will be held at the Orion Hotel in the 'Karkyra' hall (Erkindik Boulevard, 21) starting at 18:30, although the program may change.
After Party is scheduled for April 24 and 25 at Chocos_Bar (Panfilova Street, 116) starting at 21:30. Changes to the program are also possible.
