Bishkek City Police conducts a raid against cattle theft and illegal meat sales

Citizens are urged not to buy questionable meat



Employees of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek are starting a raid aimed at combating cattle theft and illegal meat trading. This was reported by the press service of the agency.


The main objective of the activities is not only to stop but also to prevent illegal slaughter, transportation, and sale of livestock and meat products.


Police officers are checking slaughterhouses, sales points where meat is sold, as well as vehicles used for transporting animals. They are conducting explanatory talks with owners, employees, and drivers, emphasizing the need to comply with legislation and have the necessary veterinary and permit documents.


The Main Internal Affairs Directorate also urges citizens to be vigilant and not to purchase questionable meat for their own safety.
