
Currently, flights between Bishkek and China are operated by China Southern Airlines with a frequency of six times a week, and the arrival of a new carrier will significantly enhance the accessibility of transport links between the two countries.
There is also a consideration for opening new flights towards Europe.
To implement these plans, it is necessary to update the fleet and remove Kyrgyzstan from the European Union's blacklist, which the country was placed on in 2006. This requires confirmation of compliance with international safety standards.

In October 2025, representatives of the State Agency for Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan participated in a technical meeting in Brussels with members of the European Commission (DG MOVE), where they discussed steps for the possible removal of the country from the EU aviation safety list.
