The minister responded to how he feels about the initiative to check citizens' health before marriage.

At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on labor, health, women's affairs, and social issues on March 17, Nurchamal Torobekova once again raised the issue of the necessity of medical examinations before marriage. She noted that she had previously advocated for this initiative.

In response, Minister of Health Damirbek Osmonov emphasized that such checks should become mandatory.

According to the minister, knowledge about the health of the groom and bride before marriage will help in the prevention of maternal mortality and allow for genetic consultations.
