Financing is provided to improve air quality
Residents of Bishkek and nearby areas have the opportunity to obtain preferential state loans of up to 1 million soms, intended for the installation of modern and environmentally friendly heating systems. This loan program is implemented by the Ministry of Finance as part of an initiative to improve air quality in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The interest rate on these loans is 8% per annum, with a repayment period of up to 60 months for households.
Additionally, a separate lending window is available for companies that provide equipment. Such organizations can receive financing of up to 5 million soms at a rate of 10% per annum, also for a period of up to 60 months, for the installation of modern heating systems.
Financing is organized through the project’s partner banks: “A Bank,” “Eldik Bank,” and “Bakay Bank.”
