“We will announce the exact date later. The process of updating the electronic enrollment system is in the preparation stage. The logic will remain the same: in the first stage, enrollment will be based on registration, and in the second, parents will be able to enroll their children in any school across the country,” added Lira Samykbaeva.
It is worth noting that in recent years, enrollment in the first grade has been conducted in an online format.
In 2025, enrollment based on registration started at the end of March, and from June 2, it was based on the actual place of residence. Authorities promised to begin electronic registration in schools earlier.
“Last year, during the enrollment of children in schools, the system faced overload for several hours due to the large influx of registered parents. To avoid similar situations next year, we plan to start electronic registration as early as October. In some countries, when a child is born, it is immediately determined which kindergarten and school they will attend. We can also organize such a system,” concluded Lira Samykbaeva in the summer.
