In response to this inquiry, the Department of the Fishery Industry of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reported that in October 2026, it is planned to stock the following water bodies with carp (common carp) fry weighing about 25 grams:
- 150,000 pieces for the Toktogul Reservoir;
- 100,000 pieces for the Kirov Reservoir;
- 10,000 pieces for the Bazar-Korgon Reservoir;
- 5,000 pieces for the Shamaldy-Sai Reservoir;
- 5,000 pieces for the Tash-Kumyr Reservoir.
Additionally, according to the resolution, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is conducting raids on the Toktogul, Bazar-Korgon, Kurp-Sai, Shamaldy-Sai, Tash-Kumyr, Uch-Korgon, and Kirov reservoirs to prevent illegal fishing and poaching.
