High-rise buildings around the 'Bishkek Arena' stadium are prohibited

Nevertheless, there are exceptions

In the Lenin district of Bishkek, in the village of Orok, a decision has been made to prohibit the construction of high-rise buildings in the area of the future football stadium. This decision is enshrined in resolution No. 120, which was published by the Cabinet of Ministers.

This step is due to the strategic importance of the facility, which requires ensuring its safety. The prohibition zone extends to a radius of 500 meters from the stadium, where the construction of buildings no higher than three stories (no more than 20 meters) is permitted.

However, exceptions have been established for five projects:

1. Construction of an administrative building for the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography, six stories high, located on Selektsionnaya Street, plot No. 1v;

2. Construction of an administrative building for the "Kyzmat" institution under the Presidential Administration, also six stories high, on Selektsionnaya Street, plot No. 1v;

3. An attraction in the park located at the intersection of Jaiyla Baatyr and Ala-Archinskaya streets, with a height of 53 meters, at the address Altyn Beshik Street, 77/5;

4. A sports rehabilitation center under construction, which will be four stories high, contour No. 21;

5. A football complex, which will have three stories, contours No. 21 and 25.
