The organizers reported that the original version of the film available online is of poor quality. The event will feature a digitized version from film, which includes a translation into Russian. The preparation for the screening was made possible thanks to the efforts of the staff of the archival department of "Kyrgyzfilm". After the screening, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion with director Artykpai Suundukov, as well as with Shairgul Kasymalieva and Busurman Odurakaev.
The plot of the film touches on the difficult pages of the history of the Kyrgyz people through the lens of the life of the main character, Seynep, who possesses the unique gift of a mourner.
