Local residents often compare their apricot orchards to Japanese cherry blossoms, emphasizing that the blooming in Batken is just as impressive as in Japan.
Experts believe that if this direction is developed properly, the apricot blooming could become a tourist brand for Kyrgyzstan and attract many tourists to the region, similar to what happens in Japan with cherry blossoms.
