In Kyrgyzstan, new strict veterinary and sanitary control measures have been implemented to prevent the spread of infectious diseases among animals. This was reported by the Epizootic Control Department of the Veterinary Service.

The agency is monitoring the epizootic situation in other countries where disease outbreaks are occurring. Based on the information received, temporary restrictions on the import of animals and animal products may be introduced.

Preventive measures are also being taken to prevent the import of contaminated products, ensuring veterinary and biological safety.

The Veterinary Service emphasized that these efforts are aimed at protecting the health of citizens, as well as ensuring food security and maintaining epizootic welfare in the country.

These measures comply with international standards, including the norms of the World Organisation for Animal Health, and are being implemented in accordance with the Law on Veterinary Medicine.
