The city police reminded that according to the laws of Kyrgyzstan, smoking in public areas and places not designated for this purpose is strictly prohibited.
According to Article 83 of the Code of Offenses, individuals can be fined 30 calculation indicators for this violation, which amounts to up to 3,000 soms.
Law enforcement agencies noted that this measure is aimed at protecting the health of citizens and maintaining public order.
Residents are urged to respect those around them and to smoke only in specially designated areas.
