The construction of a new school has begun in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, which will operate within the framework of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation. Sergey Vakunov emphasized that the project to create joint educational institutions is an important element of the strategic partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. He also reminded that a program is being implemented in the republic for the construction of nine Russian-language schools, with the first of them, including the new school in Bishkek, expected to be completed by 2027.

According to the ambassador, the new educational institutions will be equipped with modern facilities and will provide quality education. They will employ both Kyrgyz and Russian teachers who have trained at leading Russian universities.

It should be noted that there is a high interest in Russian-language education in Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, the Russian side will continue to prepare specialists — in 2026, 700 places will be allocated for Kyrgyz students.

Additionally, from April 1 to 3, an exhibition titled "Education in Russia — 2026" will take place in Bishkek, Kara-Balta, Kant, and Tokmok, featuring 26 Russian universities.

The ceremony concluded with the pouring of concrete for the foundation of the new school.
