Previously, the authorities offered relocation to a new residential area called "Ene-Sai," providing housing and land plots. Some families agreed to these terms and have already received new housing, while other residents refused and began demanding cash payments.
The press secretary of the city hall, Zhyldyzbek Bolotbekov, noted that financial compensation for the demolished properties is not provided. Instead, those who do not agree to relocation will be offered land plots within the city.
The same approach will be applied to owners of commercial real estate that has been demolished. The authorities intend to address the issue by providing alternative land plots.
