On March 25, in Bishkek, at the courtyard located at 64/1 Tynystanova Street, where the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan Algimantas Vidugiris lived for almost two decades, a ceremony was held to open a park in his honor. This was reported to Kaktus.media by his relatives.

According to them, the event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where neighbors, friends, and colleagues gathered to plant trees, including a plane tree, which has become a symbol of memory for the director and a reference to his film "The Tale of a Man, a Wheel, and a Plane Tree".

The residents of the courtyard promised to take care of the trees and invited everyone to come to the park.

This opening coincided with the 85th anniversary of Kyrgyz cinema, which prompted the film studio "Kyrgyzfilm" to begin work on a documentary about Vidugiris, who is considered one of the founders of the "Kyrgyz miracle". A team of filmmakers was also present at the event.
