According to municipal data, between 1250 and 1300 buses operate daily, which corresponds to a usage rate of 85%.
City hall representatives added that the procurement of 95 new buses is currently being processed, which will soon replenish the fleet and increase its usage level.
Earlier, at the event "Shaarkana" organized by the initiative group "Urban Hub Bishkek," the current state and future of public transport were discussed. During the discussion, it became known that about 400 buses are idle due to a shortage of drivers.
