During his working trip to the Chui region, the Chairman of the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, Baktybek Kudaybergenov, held a meeting with the President's representative in the region, as well as with the heads of local state administrations and the mayors of the cities of Kant, Tokmok, and Kara-Balta.
According to the press service of the National Statistical Committee, the Chui region plays a key role in the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan, as it accounts for about 33% of the sown areas and produces approximately 25% of the country's total agricultural output.
Thus, the accuracy and completeness of the data collected during the census are critical for forming an objective picture of agricultural development and making informed government decisions.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need to intensify efforts to explain the goals of the census to the population. Meeting participants were recommended to ensure that citizens are informed about the importance of participating in the census and the significance of providing accurate data.
It is worth reminding that the agricultural census started on March 20 and will last until the end of April.
