A woman says she cannot see her children for months and is forced to comply with her ex-husband's conditions to maintain contact.
The story of a resident of Kyrgyzstan, who complains about the inability to communicate with her children after divorce, has become popular on social media.
According to her, she was married to her ex-husband for 15 years, during which they had five children. The woman claims that for a long time she was subjected to both physical and psychological abuse, which led to her decision to leave him.
She states that her ex-husband took the children under the pretext that they would stay with him temporarily, but then refused to return them to their mother. From that moment on, as the woman claims, access to the children became very limited.
She reports that she does not see her children for months, and meetings with them only occur on her ex-husband's terms, including rare visits a few times a month and financial demands such as alimony.
She also claims that the children are being pressured: they are made to call another woman "mother." However, the woman herself does not oppose the children communicating with their father.
The woman adds that court proceedings are dragging on, hearings are often postponed, and a decision on custody has not yet been made.
In her posts, she calls on the public to pay attention to her situation and help protect her rights as a mother. At the time of publication, there were no official comments from the other side of the conflict or from government agencies.
