Nursultan Keneshbekov became the winner of the 'Christmas Starts' tournament in Russia
At the international athletics tournament "Christmas Starts. Memorial of E. S. Yalamov," which took place in Russia, Kyrgyz athlete Nursultan Keneshbekov took first place.

The athlete from Kyrgyzstan demonstrated excellent results in the 3000-meter distance, finishing the race with a time of 7 minutes 57.66 seconds in Yekaterinburg.

190 athletes from 35 Russian regions participated in the competition, as well as representatives from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

It is also worth noting that in October 2025, Nursultan Keneshbekov set a new national record in the half marathon.

He participated in the Kazan National Half Marathon and finished third in the 21.1-kilometer distance with a time of 1 hour 1 minute 39 seconds, which became a new record for Kyrgyzstan.
