Athletes from the Issyk-Kul Region Won Prizes at the Kyrgyzstan Karate Championship

From November 22 to 23, the WKF Karate Championship of Kyrgyzstan took place in Bishkek, where athletes from the Issyk-Kul region demonstrated excellent results. This was reported by Anarbek Mukashev, the chief coach of the region in karate.

More than 40 participants competed in the championship from cities such as Karakol, Balykchy, Cholpon-Ata, as well as from the Ak-Suu and Jeti-Oguz districts.

Among the winners who took first place were:

Bilal Ryskulov — in the category of 16–17 years, weight up to 55 kg

Umar Keneshbekov — 18–20 years (youth/adult category), weight up to 55 kg

Aytunuk Tursunbekova — 18–20 years (youth/adult category), weight up to 50 kg

Begayim Tolonova — 18–20 years (youth/adult category), over 68 kg

Izat Asankadyrov — 18–20 years (youth category), over 84 kg

Begimai Orozalieva — 18–20 years (youth/adult category), weight up to 68 kg

Ajar Orozalieva — adults, weight up to 61 kg

In addition, the Issyk-Kul region team won 7 silver and 12 bronze medals.
